To understand the complexity and contrast of a country like Haiti, one must have been born and raised in its culture and language, as I was.
I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity early in life of moving to the United States and going to high school here. Therefore I feel uniquely blessed to be perfectly comfortable with the culture, language and personality of both countries.
I speak Creole, French, and English fluently, which enables me to do document translations as well as interpretations simultaneously as I hear them from one language to the other. I have an affinity for the culture, making me sympathetic to those I interpret for thereby putting them at ease in difficult situations.
I pride myself in my ability to listen, understand, interpret and I have extensive knowledge of judicial terms, specialized dialects and colloquialisms of both cultures. Therefore I feel I could make a great contribution in any situation requiring translating and/or interpreting skills.
