Bio

Hello everyone, nice to e-meet you!

Over the past 16 years I mainly worked as Multilingual Desktop Publishing, Subtitler, and Localization Engineer in Translation. 

As a Subtitler, I export SRT files from English videos, create the time stamps, and import the subtitles back into the videos as closed captions in different languages, including CCJK and RTL languages.

As a Localization Engineer in translations, I was responsible for importing various types of files into Phrase, including JSON, XML, and XLIFF, locking text or code that should not be translated, and preparing non-editable files for translation. 

I have also worked extensively in Multilingual Desktop Publishing, using both Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Suite (with my own licenses), as well as CAT tools such as Phrase and Trados Studio (I have 2019 license).
