I am a qualified UK Chartered Accountant (CPA equivalent) and
experienced auditor with legal training and have been a full-time translator of
financial, legal, banking, investment and business texts since 2003. I have
done a great deal of work for large corporations and all the large Paris
accounting, brokerage & law firms, consultants and banks, as well as for many
large Paris agencies specializing in this area. I have extensive experience of
preparing, auditing and translating financial statements and translating
contracts of all types, leases, notarized deeds, bank internal procedures,
court pleadings & decisions, annual and management reports, reference
documents, board minutes, Articles of Association, General Meeting
documentation, brokers’ investment analyses, venture capital proposals, M&A
and due diligence reviews, internal control procedures, patent applications and
other company legal documentation.

Prior to self-employment as a translator, I had a 30-year career in
financial, legal, investment and treasury management in large corporations
(Deloitte, Rockwell International & Imerys), which gave me a good working
knowledge of US English. 

I have lived and worked in France since 1985 and am married to a
practicing French commercial lawyer (Versailles Bar), who assists me with
technical legal issues when required.

I use MS Office and Wordfast Pro (Trados-compatible)
software. I can translate 3,500+ words per day. My references
