Translation is a difficult process that goes beyond the knowledge of two
languages. To translate is to use the target language to express what has been
said in the source language. And it we go one step further, to translate is to
understand two different cultures. And it is the translator´s job to try to
achieve semantic equivalence while bearing in mind the cultural context.

This has been my aim since I started translating in 1999. With this
objective in mind, I combine different skills to produce great and natural
texts even when the original is not well-written. I fuse the techniques of a
learner, researcher, translator, writer and editor. I like going through the
text line by line to make sure nothing is forgotten, no changes have been made
and no details are forgotten.
