I have translated a total of over 5 million Japanese source words thus far in my primary fields of legal, medical, and "general" translations. I'm always excited to try a new field of translation and have proven to be quite versatile. My greatest distinguishing characteristic though would have to be my productivity; I have combined CAT, speech recognition software, large memorized vocabularies in my working languages, enormous terminology databases to which I have added over the years, and efficient utilization of internet resources to develop a level of output of high-quality translated text that can be matched by few. I have little difficulty translating 6,000 Japanese characters in a working day (I consider that my "baseline") and my personal record is twice that.
