Bio
After studying in Scotland I worked
- as secretary/liaison for the US Army in Germany,
- lived and worked in Canada (3 years) and Hong Kong (2 years) for Canadian and Hong Kong
companies as admin. assistant/translator,
- as translator/intgerpreter for a car importer/dealer in Germany,
- as backoffice manager/general manager/translator for a German consulting firm in the field
of international development aid in various African, Caribbean, Asian countries
- as admin. assistant/translator for partners in a major lawfirm in Germany.

By merit of the many years of work in international environments in different professional fields I am familiar with the typical vocabulary used in actual business life. However, through my work in international development assistance world-wide I also have experience of other subjects (e.g. education, industrial development, marketing, general sociology, etc.), in particular through translations of official studies and project documents in related fields.
