Dear Pre-K Family,
This handbook was designed to inform parents of the various aspects of the 180-day
Pre-K program. Inside you will find information regarding policies, fees and necessary documentation. The curriculum utilized is Early Foundations. Should you have any questions, please feel free to speak with your Center Director.
Knowledge Learning Corporation operates the Pre-K program and receives funding via the guidelines from the Pre-Kindergarten program’s governing agency, Bright From the Start: Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning. Should you seek further information regarding the Georgia Pre-K program, you may visit www.decal.ga.gov. For specific center information, please contact your Center Director.
In addition to your Center Director and Management Team, each site has coordinators to ensure that your child receives the maximum benefit from the Pre-K program. Classroom Coordinators work closely with your child’s teacher in the areas of curriculum and instruction. Resource Coordinators work with your center and families to ensure that each child has access to the resources they need to be successful in school.

Our Philosophy

Curriculum
The approved curriculum utilized in your child’s classroom is Early Foundations. It's the perfect time to nurture budding interests and skills that will last a lifetime. The KLC Early Foundations program for preschoolers targets school readiness and the development of critical literacy skills. Source text - English THE MAKING OF SCOTCH WHISKY
Scotch whisky is an elemental elixir. Its constituents are the earth, the water, the fire and the air of Scotland. Its only ingredients are barley, the quintessential harvest of the earth, pure water, imbued with the fugitive minerals of the land itself, and a dash of yeast to ferment the brew. Fire malts the barley and raises the ethereal spirit in the still, and the fresh northern air, often damp and chill, per¬meates the casks while the spirit matures and works, a magic which is still not yet fully understood by chemists.
Distilling developed as a branch of alchemy, and in truth the transmutation of the base elements of barley into the golden liq¬uid which has won the enthusiastic support of the entire world might still be accurately considered to be an alchemical process. More so since, despite deploying the very latest chemical and tech¬nological knowledge, nobody has been able to make whisky with the same flavour characteristics as Scotch furth of Scotland.
It is not within the scope of a pocket book to dwell at length upon how whisky is made, but a short account of the processes and procedures will help the reader understand the notes which com¬prise the body of the book.
