Native English and Kiswahili court-sworn translator and consecutive interpreter, I was educated in the United Kingdom majoring in Law with a French language minor. After qualifying as an advocate in Tanzania, I worked in this field for a some time then decided to focus on translation emphasising, though not limiting myself to, translation of legal documents and non-technical medical documents. I am also working on a personal project of translating children's stories into Swahili.   

With over 15 years experience as a technical translator, my experience in translation is extensive and varied. I use mostly Trados Studio but can adapt to a variety of CAT tools. In addition, I provide other language services namely proofreading,  on proofreading, post-MT revision and transcription.
