I am a degree-qualified translator (Dipl.-Übers.) for English and Russian and completed a five-year course of studies at the Universities of Saarland and Leipzig, having attended the translation courses “global economy”, “industrial computing” and “network computing” as well as introductory computer science classes. Since completion of my course of studies (January 2004) I have constantly worked as a full-time translator in various in-house positions in Britain and Germany. In addition I provide translations on a freelance basis. Experience includes:

Memorandums of Understanding, employment contracts
Correspondence, job references
Training material, software localization

I work with MetaTexis and Trados for easier handing of larger projects and to ensure consistency of terminology. Able to process of html and xml files.

Seit meinem Universitätsabschluss als Diplom-Übersetzerin für Englisch und Russisch (2004) an der Universität Leipzig bin ich vollberuflich als Übersetzerin tätig.
Ich nutze die Übersetzungssoftware Trados und MetaTexis und kann auch getaggte Dateien (xml, html) bearbeiten.
