Source text - English The September Sun beat down hotly on Le Bourget aerodrome as the passengers crossed the ground and climbed into the air liner Prometheus, due to depart for Croydon in a few minutes’ time.
Jane Gray was among the last to enter and take her seat, No. 16. Some of the passengers had already passed on through the centre door past the tiny pantry-kitchen and the two toilets to the front car. Most people were already seated. On the opposite side of the gangway there was a good deal of chatter — a rather shrill, high-pitched woman’s voice dominating it. Jane’s lips twisted slightly. She knew that particular type of voice so well.
‘My dear — it’s extraordinary — no idea — Where, do you say? Le Pinet — Yes, just the same old crowd — but of course let’s sit together. Oh, can’t we? Who —? Oh, I see . . .’
And then a man’s voice — foreign, polite:
‘— With the greatest of pleasure, Madame.’
Jane stole a glance out of the corner of her eye.
A little elderly man with large moustaches and an egg-shaped head was politely moving himself and his belongings from the seat corresponding to Jane’s on the opposite side of the gangway.
Jane turned her head slightly and got a view of the two women whose unexpected meeting had occasioned this polite action on the stranger’s part. The mention of Le Pinet stimulated her curiosity, for Jane also had been at Le Pinet.
She remembered one of the two women perfectly — remembered how she had seen her last — at the baccarat table, her little hands clenching and unclenching themselves — her delicately made-up Dresden china face flushing and paling alternately. With a little effort, Jane thought, she could have remembered her name. A friend had mentioned it — had said: ‘She’s a peeress, she is, but not one of the proper ones — she was only some chorus girl or other.’
Deep scorn in the friend’s voice. That had been Maisie, who had a first-class job as a masseuse ‘taking off’ flesh.
The other woman, Jane thought in passing, was the ‘real thing’. The ‘horsey, county type’, thought Jane, and forthwith forgot the two women and interested herself in the view obtainable through the window of Le Bourget aerodrome. Various other machines were standing about. One of them looked like a big metallic centipede.
The one place she was obstinately determined not to look was straight in front of her, where, on the seat opposite, sat a young man.
He was wearing a rather bright periwinkle-blue pullover. Above the pullover Jane was determined not to look. If she did, she might catch his eye, and that would never do!
Mechanics shouted in French — the engine roared — relaxed — roared again — obstructions were pulled away — the plane started.
Jane caught her breath. It was only her second flight. She was still capable of being thrilled. They were off the ground — rising — sweeping round. There was Le Bourget beneath them.
The midday service to Croydon had started. It contained twenty-one passengers — ten in the forward carriage and eleven in the rear one. It had two pilots and two stewards. The noise of the engines was very skillfully deadened. There was no need to put cotton wool in the ears. Nevertheless there was enough noise to discourage conversation and encourage thought.
As the plane roared above France on its way to the Channel the passengers in the rear compartment thought their various thoughts.
Jane Gray thought: ‘I won’t look at him . . . I won’t . . . It’s much better not. I’ll go on looking out the window and thinking. I’ll choose a definite thing to think about - that’s always the best way. That will keep my mind steady. I’ll begin at the beginning and go all over it.’
Resolutely she switched her mind back to what she called the beginning, that purchase of a ticket in the Irish Sweep. It had been an extravagance, but an exciting extravagance.
A lot of laughter and teasing chatter in the hairdressing establishment in which Jane and five other young ladies were employed.
‘What’ll you do if you win it, dear?’
‘I know what I’d do.’
Plans — castles in the air — a lot of chaff.
Well, she hadn’t won ‘it’ — ‘it’ being the big prize; but she had won a hundred pounds.
A hundred pounds.
‘You spend half of it, dear, and keep the other half for a rainy day. You never know.’
‘I’d buy a fur coat, if I was you — a real tip-top one.’
‘What about a cruise?’
Jane had wavered at the thought of a ‘cruise’, but in the end she had remained faithful to her first idea; a week at Le Pinet.

وعندما كانت شمس ايلول (سبتمبر) تسلط أشعتها لتبعث الحرارة فى أرجاء مطار لو بورجيه ، صعد الركاب على متن الطائرة التابعة لخط طيران بروميثيوس المتجهة إلى كريدون فى دقائق قليلة.
وكانت ﭽين جراى بين صفوف الركاب الأخيرة لتلحق بمقعدها رقم 16. وكان بالفعل قد مر بعض الركاب إلى الجزء الأمامى من الطائرة عن طريق الباب الأوسط المجاور إلى بوفيه الطائرة ودورات المياه. وقد استقر معظم الركاب فى مقاعدهم. وعلى الجانب الآخر من الممر، كان هناك قدر كبير من الثرثرة أشبه بالصياح وكان مصدره صوت سيدة. وظلت ﭽين صامتة. بالرغم من معرفتها بهذا الصوت جيداً.
" عزيزتى – هذا غير متوقع – ليس لدى فكرة – تقولين أين؟ لوبنيه – نعم نعم هذا الجمع القديم – ولكن بالطبع لنجلس معاً. اه لا نستطيع – اه أرى ذلك ....."
وهنا قال الرجل بشكل مهذب: " بكل سرور يا سيدتى"
وقد اختلست ﭽين نظرة سريعة على ما يحدث.
عندها تحرك رجل كهل له شارب ضخم ورأس تشبه البيضة ناقلا معه أمتعته من المقعد المقابل إلى ﭽين على الجانب الآخر من الممر.
وقد أدارت ﭽين رأسها بعد أن رأت السيدتين اللتين تصادفا وكان لقائهما سببا لإثارة ذوق وأدب هذا الرجل. و ذكر لوبنيه قد أثار فضول ﭽين حيث أنها كانت تذهب إلى هناك.
وبشكل جيد تذكرت ﭽين إحدى السيدتين ، تذكرت المرة الأخيرة عندما رأتها على طاولة القمار، تبسط يديها الصغيرتين وتقبضهما من شدة التوتر ، ووجها المزخرف المتبرج بمنتهى الرقة يتناوب بين التورد والشحب فى لحظات سريعة.
وبعد تفكير ومجهود بسيط من جين فى محاولة لتذكر اسم تلك السيدة. وخطر فى بالها ، لقد ذكره صديق – لقد قال: " إنها قرينة لورد انجليزى ولكنها ليست من طبقة راقية الأصول وإنما كانت مغنية كورس أو شىء من هذا القبيل."
وبلهجة تحوى كل معانى الاحتقار فى صوت هذا الصديق(قال): إنها مايزى التى كانت لديها وظيفة من الدرجة الأولى كمدلكة لإزالة الشحوم والوزن الزائد.
وبشكل عابر فكرت ﭽين فى السيدة الأخرى على إنها " الشىء الواقعى" المنتمى إلى مقاطعة الخيول. وعلى الفور، نسيت جين أمر السيدتين وشغلت نفسها بالمنظرالمطل أمامها من النافذة على مطار لو بورجيه. وكان هناك العديد من الآلات التى تحتل المكان وضمن الالآت آلة وكأنها حشرة (أم أربعة وأربعين) معدنية ضخمة.
وكان المكان الذى لم ترغب جين فى النظر اليه هو الذى امامها مباشرة فى المقعد المقابل لها حيث كان يجلس رجل شاب. والذى كان يرتدى سترة زرقاء ساطعة بلون القوقع البحرى.
وأصرت جين على عدم النظرإلى أعلى تلك السترة. لأنها إذا فعلت قد تتلاقى عينيهما وهذا ما لا تريده!!
وصاح عمال الميكانيكا (بالفرنسية) - لقد تم إدارة المحرك – استرخاء – تم إدارة المحرك مرة أخرى – تم إزاحة العوائق – واستعدت الطائرة للإقلاع.
والتقطت جين أنفاسها. لقد كانت رحلتها الثانية وقد كانت مرتعبة بعض الشىء. وكانت الطائرة تبتعد عن الأرض تدريجيا وترتفع تاركة الأرض ومطار لو بورجيه أسفلها.
وكانت خدمة الظهر إلى كريدون قد بدأت ، والتى تضمنت واحد وعشرون راكب – عشرة ركاب فى المقدمة وإحدى عشر راكب فى المؤخرة. واشتملت على اثنين من قائدى الطائرات واثنين من المراقبين. وقد سكن ضجيج المحركات تماما. ولم يعد الحاجة الى وضع القطن فى الأذن بعد الآن. وبالرغم من ذلك كان هناك ما يكفى من الضجيج الذى يشجع على الصمت والتفكير.
وبينما اقتربت الطائرة فوق فرنسا فى طريقها إلى القناة ، فكر الركاب فى المقصورة الخلفية فى أفكارهم المختلفة.
جين جراى فكرت " لا لن أنظر له ....لن أنظر .. من الأفضل ألا انظر.. سأشاهد من النافذة و وسوف ابحث عن شىء ما وأفكر فيه – هذه دائما الطريقة المثلى. وهذا سوف يبقى عقلى مستقر. وسوف أبدأ من البداية واستمر فى المتابعة ......
وبمنتهى العزم ذهبت بتفكيرها وعقلها لما أطلقت عليه بالبداية ، وتلك البداية هى شراء تذكرة فى (Irish Sweep) (وهى تشبه اليانصيب) والتى كانت نوع من التبذير والإسراف . ولكنه تبذير ممتع ومثير.
كثير من الضحك وضجيج الثرثرة فى محل الكوافير الذى كانت تعمل به جين وخمس فتيات أخريات .
"ماذا سوف تفعلين لو فوزت بجائزة اليانصيب ، ياعزيزتى؟ "
" أنا أعلم ماذا سوف أفعل بها "
خطط – قصور وخيالات فى الهواء – وكثير من المزاح .
حسنا ولكنها لم تفز بالجائزة الكبرى – إنما فازت بمائة جنيه.

Source text - Arabic أصدر صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة بصفته حاكم أبوظبي القانون رقم 11 لسنة 2006 بإنشاء مؤسسة التنمية الأسرية، ويقضي القانون وفقا للمادة رقم (2) بما يلي: "تنشأ مؤسسة عامة غير ربحية تسمى ”مؤسسة التنمية الأسرية“ ذات شخصية اعتبارية مستقلة، وتتمتع بالأهلية القانونية الكاملة والاستقلال المالي والإداري برئاسة سمو الشيخة فاطمة بنت مبارك حفظها الله، وتتبع ديوان ولي العهد. ويكون مقر المؤسسة الرئيسي مدينة أبوظبي، ويجوز لمجلس الأمناء بعد موافقة الرئيس أن ينشئ فروعاً ومكاتب لها في الإمارة.
تهدف المؤسسة إلى رعاية وتنمية الأسرة بوجه عام والمرأة والطفل بوجه خاص، تأكيداً لدور الأسرة في التنشئة الاجتماعية، وتحقيق رؤية شاملة في التعامل مع قضايا المرأة والطفل والتنمية المستدامة للأسرة ضماناً لخلق مجتمع قادر على المنافسة بالعلم والمعرفة مع التطوير المستمر للقدرات والمهارات.
وتهتم على وجه الخصوص بما يأتي:

§ وضع الاستراتيجيات والخطط وتنفيذ البرامج المتخصصة في تنشئة ووقاية ورعاية الأطفال والشباب وإعدادهم للمستقبل على اعتبارهم الجيل القادم، والتأكد من مواكبتهم للتطورات الحديثة مع احتفاظهم بهويتهم الوطنية وفهمهم لثقافتهم وتراثهم.
§ توفير الرعاية الاجتماعية والنفسية للمسنين بكافة صورها وأشكالها، والعمل على استقطابهم للعيش في حياة اجتماعية مستقرة، وتوعية الأبناء وكافة أفراد الأسرة بكيفية التعامل معهم وتحقيق الاحتواء الاجتماعي لهم بين أفراد الأسرة والمجتمع.
Translation - English Issued by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his capacity as ruler of Abu Dhabi law No. 11 of 2006 establishing the family development institution, act in accordance with article no. (2) as follows:
“Established a non-profit public institution called ”family development institution with independent legal personality, and enjoys full legal capacity and financial independence and administrative chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak save God and follow the Crown. And the main seat will be in city of Abu Dhabi. The board of trustees, after approval by the President, may establish branches and offices in the Principality.
Generally, the institution aims to family care and development, and of women and children in particular, affirming the role of the family in the socialization and achieving a comprehensive vision in dealing with issues of women and children and to ensure the sustainable development of the family to create a competitive and knowledgeable society with continuous improvement of abilities and skills.
The institution concerns in particular the following:
- Strengthening values, inherent habits and culture and national identity among family members and society and stabilize families and community cohesion.
- Seriously educating all family members of healthy, environmental and nutritious issues and to encourage physical fitness and culture of rationalization to clarify the role of family in society development and to strengthen the principle of maintaining family health, which in turn leads to stability, coherence and synergy between the family and society, creating a community aware of every individual role through health life styles and positive sound habits.
- Enhancing the role of women, empower them socially and economically and finding mechanisms that help them to contribute actively to the social and economic development.
- Setting strategies and plans, implementing the specialized programs in upbringing, protection and care of children and youth, preparing them for the future as the next generation, and to make sure that they cope with recent developments while also retaining their national identity and understanding of their culture and heritage.
- Providing social and psychological care for the elderly in all its forms and helping them to live a stable social life. Letting sons and all family members being well informed about dealing with the elderly in order to achieve social inclusion among family members and society.
