I am a Brazilian Portuguese native speaker and an EN/ES>PT-BR translator, subtitler and proofreader, with a BA in Languages (Portuguese/Spanish) and a graduate specialization in Spanish Translation. I have been working with texts since 2006.
Since 2013, I have been a staff translator at EBC, Brazil's public broadcasting company, where I translate news articles into Spanish for Agência Brasil every day, subtitle documentaries and interviews for TV Brasil, and translate legal and administrative documents.
I have translated books for publishers such as DarkSide Books, including true crime titles and Night of the Living Dead, and subtitled series and shows for streaming and pay TV, from Japanese dramas on Netflix to BBC programs like The Graham Norton Show. Since 2012, I have also been a certified translator and editor at Blend (formerly OneHourTranslation). I am a credentialed translator with Brazil's Federal Justice Council (CJF) and a co-founder of Ligna.
