Source text - Greek Τα παιδιά υπό ανοσοκατασταλτική θεραπεία είναι πιο επιρρεπή σε λοιμώξεις από ότι τα υγιή. Για παράδειγμα, νοσήματα όπως η ανεμοβλογιά ή η ιλαρά μπορεί να έχουν σοβαρότερη ή και θανατηφόρα πορεία σε παιδιά υπό ανοσοκαταστολή με γλυκοκορτικοστεροειδή. Στα παιδιά αυτά ή σε ενήλικους που δεν έχουν ανοσία σ’ αυτά τα νοσήματα, θα πρέπει ν’ αποφεύγεται με ιδιαίτερη προσοχή τυχόν έκθεσή τους. Σε περίπτωση που εκτεθούν σε μόλυνση, μπορεί να θεωρηθεί ενδεδειγμένη η χρήση ανοσοσφαιρίνης έναντι της ανεμοβλογιάς/ζωστήρα ή ανοσοσφαιρίνης συλλεγείσης από πολλά άτομα, ενδοφλεβίως.
Translation - English Children under immunosuppressive treatment are more susceptible to infections than the general population. For example, diseases like chickenpox or measles may develop more severely or even lethally in children immunosuppressed with glucocorticoids. In these children or in non-immune adults, potential exposure should be avoided. Recommended post-exposure prophylaxis comprises of the iv administration of anti-varicella-zoster immunoglobulin or pooled immunoglobulin.

I founded Rhyme&Reason Language Services in Patras in 2005 and have run it since — first as a translation studio, now as the delivery arm of RIMA Language_Tech_Culture, the language research and technology hub I set up in 2020. I teach Translation Technologies at the University of Piraeus and chair Language_Tech Patras.
