Source text - English The "Red Death" had long devastated the country. No pestilence had ever been so fatal, or so hideous. Blood was its Avatar and its seal--the redness and the horror of blood. There were sharp pains, and sudden dizziness, and then profuse bleeding at the pores, with dissolution. The scarlet stains upon the body and especially upon the face of the victim, were the pest ban which shut him out from the aid and from the sympathy of his fellow-men. And the whole seizure, progress and termination of the disease, were the incidents of half an hour.

In the last quarter of 2006 CST will finish its new phase of production expansion, increasing its capacity from 5 Mt/y to
7.5 Mt/y. This will be achieved by commissioning new equip- ment: Blast Furnace n°3, Basic Oxygen Furnace n°3, Continuous Casting Machine n°3 and a Heat Recovery Coke Plant (this last item, besides coke, will generate about 140
MW of electricity).
The electric energy balance is presented in figure 2 and it is expressed in terms of 15 minutes demand in figure 3.
During a contingence concerning a thermoelectric stoppage, including events of programmed maintenance, a top recovery turbine may help to avoid a buying demand. Thus, it is ano- ther potential benefit from the TRT, to be taken into conside- ration in terms of financial pay back.

Para el último trimestre del 2006 CST tiene proyectado terminar su nueva fase de expansión de producción, hecho que incrementará su capacidad de 5Mt/a a 7.5Mt/a. Esto será posible gracias a la implementación de nuevos equipamientos tales como: Alto Horno n° 3, Convertidor Básico al Oxígeno n° 3, Máquina de Colada Continua n° 3 y una Planta Recuperadora de Calor de Coque (este último ítem, además de producir coque, generará alrededor de 140 MW de electricidad).
En la Figura 2, vemos el balance eléctrico y en la 3, vemos el mismo balance pero expresado en términos de demanda de los 15 minutos.
La TRT puede ser útil para evitar la demanda de compra durante ciertas contingencias relacionadas a una parada termoeléctrica, incluyendo eventos de mantenimiento programados. Este es otro potencial beneficio a tener en cuenta en términos de amortización financiera.
