I hold a 5 years degree in English language and Literature, another 4 years degree in Translating and Interpreting (English and German) both by the University of Granada (Spain); and also a Master’s degree in Intercultural studies and translation, specializing in Interpreting (English and German) by the Autonomous University of Barcelona. I am also an official Sworn English translator by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I have more than 10 years of translation experience as freelance translator as well as one year experience as Marketing Assistant and another year as Project Manager in an American translation agency. In addition, I completed two internships focusing on translation as Teacher assistant and Spanish teacher and translator in Magdeburg and Hamburg (Germany) respectively. However, translating is my passion and as such I love to work as a full-time translator.

Through my experience I have reached a solid knowledge of CAT tools such as Trados (SDL Studio 2015 and 2017), Omega T, MemoQ or Wordfast. In addition, I have also an intermediate level in DTP tools such as QuarkExpress, Indesign or Adobe Illustrator C2. My areas of expertise are technical, IT, Software localization, IVR, automobile, marketing, financial and legal translations such as certificates and employment contracts.

I am very passionate about translating, since it allows me to combine my two passions, which are languages and science. My education background has always been attached to maths and architecture and as such, I began to study a University degree in Architecture, however, my life brought me to languages and finally to translation. Through my passion to this field, I can guarantee committment, honesty, quality and flexibility.
