I have been working as a freelance translator since 2002, and my goal is to provide clients with both quality and reliability. I have translated in the fields of literature, travel and tourism, music, film, fashion, food and wine, and more. My work has consisted of various types of translations, including book chapters, magazine and academic journal articles, scripts, press releases, websites, official documents, and business letters. In recent months, I have begun reorganizing my freelance translation business to specialize in film and media translations.

I hold a Master of Arts degree in Italian from the University of Virginia. In addition to translating, I teach and tutor beginning and intermediate Italian language. I am currently based in Knoxville, Tennessee, where I continue teaching and translating Italian. I am qualified to make Italian - English translations and am equipped to complete these translations at a distance.
