English to Chinese: International Cooperation Forum for eGovernment providers in Vienna General field: Marketing Detailed field: Tourism & Travel
Source text - English eGovernment companies and service providers from across the globe now have the unique opportunity to extend their network and find new business partners as part of the International Cooperation Forum. The event will be held at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna on 22nd November 2010.
eGovernment is a synonym for modern and efficient administration. Making the most of the internet allows authorities and public offices to provide services to a broader section of the public than allowed by more traditional means. This makes contact with the authorities easier, saving not only time, but also administrative costs.
Austria has played a trailblazing role in this area for several years and here 83% of services are already carried out online. Over 80% of Austrian companies use eGovernment services and an increasing number of citizens are now electronic customers. This means that Austrian companies have a wealth of experience in designing, developing, implementing and operating successful eGovernment projects.
The International Cooperation Forum with a focus on eGovernment is targeted at service providers, companies and potential purchasers from all over the world who work in the following areas or who offer similar products:
• Generating online forms
• Central register (Registry of residents, land registry, commercial register)
• Identification (identity cards etc.)
• Usability and web accessibility (WAI)
• Multilingual advisory service (Expert systems)
• Secure communication and archiving (e.g. electronic legal correspondence)
The International Cooperation Forum will be held at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna on 22nd November 2010. You can find further information on the event including registration, the programme, online appointments (B2B meetings) with other participating companies etc. on the event website.
