Source text - Croatian Doista volim Zagreb noću, dok spava. Kroz širom otvoreni prozor slušam tišinu kako nijemo šeta oko naše zgrade, ovdje u centru grada. Razmišljam o zimi. I snijegu kojeg zadnjih godina više nema nego ima. Dugo već Zagreb nije bio bijel. Ne volim zapravo zimu, ali baš nekako u zadnje vrijeme često o njoj razmišljam. Srpanj je. Tek rijetki noćni tramvaj vrati me u stvarnost. Pogled mi slučajno skrene na nebo. Puni Mjesec sjaji svom svojom snagom. Neobično je mnogo zvijezda na noćnom nebu. Čini se da zagrebački zrak još uvijek nije prezagađen. Baš mi odgovara sva ova tišina.

Ti se okrećeš u snu. Ovoga puta promrmljaš nešto što vjerojatno ima smisla samo u tvojim snovima. Više od ičega željela bih znati o čemu sanjaš. Nažalost, za takvo što mi vile nismo sposobne.
Translation - English I really, really love Zagreb at night, while it sleeps. Through a widely open window I listen to the silence; how it walks numbly around our building, here, in the centre of the city. I think about winter. About the snow which, the last few years, is more gone than present. It's been a long time since Zagreb was white. I don't really like the winter, but have been thinking about it a lot lately. It now July. It's just a rare night tram that brings me back to reality. I incidentally look at the sky. There is an unusually small amount of stars in the sky. It seems that the air is not yet too polluted. I really do enjoy this silence.

You turn over in your sleep. Mumble something that probably makes sense only in your dreams. More than anything else, I would love to know what you dream about. Unfortunately, us fairies are not capable of such a thing.
