Hello,
I am working on two TagEditor files, using Trados 2007 (8). The original format of the files is .inx (Adobe InDesign). I only have the .ttx files (no original .inx files). I use a Windows PC with Windows XP.

Hello,
I am working on two TagEditor files, using Trados 2007 (8). The original format of the files is .inx (Adobe InDesign). I only have the .ttx files (no original .inx files). I use a Windows PC with Windows XP.
When I open the first file and open a few segments, if they exist in the TM, I get the message "Fail to create Java Virtual Machine". I press OK, TagEditor enters the existing translation and when I try to pass onto the next segment, it crashes. Once, I came across a segment which wasn't in the TM and in that case I didn't get any error message, I translated it and upon pressing Set/Close - Open/Get, TE crashed. All together, I haven't been able to open more than 4 segments.
The second file won't even open. When I doubleclick on it, I immediately get the window indicating that TagEditor has faced a problem and will have to shut down.
By your knowledge and experience, does it look like there is something I could do? I think that simply the files the client gave me are corrupt and I'll have to wait till Monday to let them know. And they won't be very happy to find out...
