2nd Place in ProZ's Fourth Translator's Contest, SPA>PORT, AUG-SEP 2007
First job was as data entry at a Japanese newspaper in my hometown of São Paulo, while taking classes in the Introduction to the Russian Language.
An employment upgrade, and at age 16 I went to work at the American Chamber of Commerce for Brazil.
From there, I felt right at home working at a series of advertising companies as a desktop publisher and coordinator for sales campaigns.
Took my Geminian thirst for diversity abroad, and moved to Cochabamba, Bolivia, living and working for three years as a translator for medical students.
On the road again - or rather in the air, I lived another three years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, working as a translator for a kennel member of the AKC, as well as a desktop publisher for an accounting company.
Once back in Brazil, I taught Spanish at FISK, while also working as a cargo agent in FOREX for Fiorde Logística Internacional, a representative of Geologistics, today, Agility.
A well established translator, interpreter and voice-over professional for over 10 years.
