My cat *is* my alarm clock. Every morning, 0730. It begins with quietly jumping on the bed and staring fixedly at me to get my attention. If I don't open my eyes, there's a lot of nuzzling with paws, against me, and walking along the top of me. As soon as I open my eyes she jumps off the bed and waits for me to get up. OK here's the cat picture:

Tom, this cat picture must be one of your most positive contributions in these forums. Still, the kitty does look rather disgruntled...
I can relate to some of these comics. Sitting here in my beautiful conservatory (had to look up this word, but well, a room made out of windows, warmed up wonderfully by the Portuguese winter sun), cup of tea by side, unkempt and dressed to chill, looking at horses and birds outside. ... But the deadline doesn't care about me having a bad cold and today the Dragon understands very little of the stuff I am coughing into my mic.
