“Aluminum soap greases are used as thread and way lubri¬cants. The poor shear stability of aluminum-soap greases is used to advantage in electrically conducting ***conveyers*** of electroplating systems; the grease shears down during use, allowing good electrical contact in the track rollers while still providing good lubrication.”
