The “mini-maxi”case is very specifically for repetitive cycling of turnaround scopes, not occasional peaks or troughs in spending.
So che sono "gli alti e bassi" o meglio i livelli elevati ed i livelli bassi" di spesa...... ma non riesco a rendere la frase in modo carino. Sarà la stanchezza????
Io per il momento l'ho resa con:
L'esempio “minore vs. maggiore” è particolarmente indicato per i cicli ripetitivi di turnaround aventi lo stesso scopo e non per picchi o livelli bassi di spesa.

Questa distinzione dei turnaround in “mini e maxi” è particolarmente indicata per quanto riguarda i cicli ripetitivi di turnaround aventi lo stesso scopo, ma non trova applicazione nei casi di picchi o minimi di spesa.
