Никакого granting the right или for the right тут точно не надо. А вот в личных целях можно и оставить, мало ли какие еще могут быть цели, коммерческие, например.

Ну криворукие они, что сказать, это Valve ;) "to use ... for use". purposes подходит лучше, чтобы не повторяться.
В Вашем случае спокойно можно писать for personal purposes.
