Piel IT: 2 fg

Medical (general)
I'm translating a Uruguayan pathology report made on a skin sample and came across this abbreviation/acronym, whose meaning I can't grasp.
Context (this is part of the microscopic findings):
"Se recibe losange de piel que mide 6x6 mm, con espesor de 2 mm. Cara cutánea beige. IT piel: 2 fg."
The document has some spelling mistakes, so maybe this is another one. Does anyone know what this could mean?
Thank you!

Not sure that would be the right way to say it in English, but the Spanish initials stand for:
Inclusión total: 2 fragmentos.
Meaning the sample was divided in two and both were embedded in paraffin.
This article describes the method for processing tissue to create paraffin-embedded specimens ready for sectioning.

Tissue Processing, Embedding and Sectioning
We process fixed tissue samples using a Leica TP1020 Automatic Tissue Processor. This prepares tissue samples for embedding in paraffin wax by taking the tissue through three steps; dehydration in alcohol, clearing in xylene and finally, infiltration with paraffin wax. Our most commonly used protocol is approximately 12 hours long.

Yes, fg is fragmentos, as I said. I'm afraid I do not understand the comment.
