No sé si en inglés ocurre lo mismo, pero en castellano tenemos "postilla" (scab), que es la costra "normal" que se genera habitualmente después de sufrir una herida. En castellano al menos cuando nos referimos a costra serohemática por ejemplo hacemos referencia a una postilla discretamente anormal, de coloración y aspecto distinto al de una postilla "normal". En inglés entiendo que "crust" puede utilizarse para ambas -¿scab también?

Reconozco que es tentador añadir "serum-blood" o mejor incluso algo como "non-purulent crusting" o algo por el estilo, pero en tanto que uso habitual, "crusting" en este caso debería bastar para señalar una costra serohemática.
