I'd like to celebrate our Bay Area Translators & Interpreters group on LinkedIn approaching 100 members by getting together! Plus we're overdue for a pow-wow here in San Francisco.

There is a great event happening every Sunday in October where a number of SF's more upscale food trucks come together in a beautiful location in the Presidio. I went the first Sunday and was blown away by the food and look forward to spending the last Sunday with you all.

Here are the details:

When:
Sunday October 28th starting at 11 till 1 or however long people want to stay

Where:
Main Post Lawn, adjacent to the Montgomery Street Barracks You can enter the address for the Walt Disney Family Museum that is right there:

What:
Off the Grid Pow-wow Picnic in the Presidio
Off the Grid has been a food truck Friday evening hit at Fort Mason but it is coming to this beautiful location in the Presidio for the month of October:

What to bring:
We will be outside, so obviously, check the weather report for that time. Otherwise, bring a blanket or folding chair, however you are most comfortable. I will bring at least 1 extra chair and some kind of table to set any pow-wow paraphernalia on. If you don't want to buy food or drink, you are welcome to bring your own. There's no "no outside food" policing at this event so do what you feel, but the food there will be great!
Also, bring business cards or any contact info to share with your new contacts and feel free to bring other interpreters and translators who you know.

There is parking lot right there, free on Sundays
