On the Thursday evening of the ATA Conference in Toronto, after the ATA "networking" event, ProZ.com and TRADOS will host a joint event at which overview presentations will be given on new site features and new TRADOS products. The presentation part of the event will include drinks, deserts and giveaways. The event is free.
After the presentation part of the event, we will move to a local venue for informal networking and discussion.
I believe the logistics will be such that you will not have to be attending the ATA conference to attend the presentaion portion of the event. Certainly ATA registration will not be required to meet fellow translators at the restaurant.
Informal networking: Any suggestions? Write me!

Hi Henry. Will see you at the exhibits. Will do my best to at least drop in on the presentation and perhaps dinner, although the latter would probably be difficult.
As I'm getting in too late to attend the official portion of the Trados & ProZ event, I would like to know (soon!!)where exactly the "after-event" will take place so that I can make my way there directly from the airport. Thanks, j.

We probably won't select a place until we have a better idea of how many will attend. (Nathalie Grondin is a local on the lookout for candidate locations - email her if you have ideas.)
In any case, we'll know by Thursday, and anyone at the conference can stop by the booth for information.
For those who will not be at the conference but want to be notified of the event location, please check this page Thursday or call my cell phone at +1 (315) 657-39... See more
