I have been translating freelance since 1982 and have wide-ranging experience in finance, electronics and law, particularly semiconductors, patents and litigation support. I worked for many years with securities firms exclusively and more recently have been a staff translator at the US Department of Justice (Antitrust). I currently teach translation (primarily law and technical) as an adjunct professor at Kent State University's Masters in translation program and previously taught technical, legal and business translation as a visiting professor at the graduate school of the Monterey Institute of Internal Studies (now Middlebury Institute of Internal Studies).
