I am a Brazilian-French translator, living in Scotland.
I
have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and I am post-graduated in translation.
I started translating in 2009. During these 10 years I have translated millions
of words from French and English into Brazilian Portuguese. I am experienced at
proofreading Portuguese texts, too. My specialities are communication and social
sciences, business newsletters and press releases, marketing pieces (mainly for
tourism, cosmetics and fashion industries), tourism and gastronomy, websites
(music, hotels, diets, games, etc.), and literature. During these years I have
translated a number of contracts and clinical trials as well.
Due to my previous experience as a
journalist I also have a good knowledge of sports' terminology, specially football.
I have also attended part of a graduation course in Physics which gives me a
knowlogde on this subject.
I use Trados Studio 2017, MemoQ 8.6, MemoSource and
Wordfast Pro 3.0. I am also a published author of short stories. For further
