Source text - English 1 SCOPE
This document outlines the process and level of test that will be expected to demonstrate the performance of the system.
The document lists the test items only, the concrete test schedule will be made according to the actual implementation progress.
2 OVERVIEW
The test includes unit-level test, subsystem-level test and system-level test.
1. The unit-level testing will be limited to verification that each delivered unit meets the specification.
2. The subsystem-level testing demonstrates each subsystem performance against the specifications.
3. The system-level testing demonstrates the ability of the entire system against the specifications.
The unit-level testing and subsystem-level testing will be conducted by the Contractor to ensure that function and performance of equipment meet the system requirement. The system-level testing will be conducted by the Contractor or a joint test group composed of the Contractor and the Republic, if necessary.
The system test shall be divided into different steps.
1. Factory Acceptance Test (Pre-shipment Test). The test is internal and not subject to the Republic approval. Except otherwise stated, the test is performed at Contractor facilities. The completion of Factory Acceptance Test indicates that the equipment is ready for shipment.
2. On-Site Acceptance Test. The test will be conducted by a joint test group composed of the Contractor and the Republic. Except otherwise stated, the test is performed at the Republic facilities. Generally, On-Site Acceptance Test shall be implemented one month prior to satellite launching. On-Site Acceptance Test will be implemented when the on-site installation/integration is completed. The completion of On-Site Acceptance Test indicates that the system is ready for delivering to the Republic.
3. Final Acceptance Test. The test will be conducted by a union test group composed of the
Contractor and the Republic. Except otherwise stated, the test is performed at the public facilities. Final Acceptance Test will be implemented when the satellite IOT is completed.
3 TEST REPORT
The Contractor shall submit to the Republic the system-level test reports.
The test reports will include the actual test schedule and procedure, a list of test items, test equipment, processed data, a summary of test results, and a discussion of the test results in relation to the required performance.
4 WITNESS OF TESTS
The Contractor understands that the Republic intends to witness some selected tests, particularly those verifying the Republic performance requirements and those used to demonstrate interface compatibility.
The Republic has the right to monitor, at its own decision, in preparations, executions, and evaluations of the tests.

3 INFORME DE PRUEBAS
El contratista deberá presentar a la República los informes de las pruebas a nivel de sistema.
Los informes de las pruebas incluirán el horario real y el procedimiento, una lista de los elementos de la prueba, los equipos, los datos procesados, un resumen de los resultados y una discusión de los resultados de las pruebas en relación con el rendimiento requerido.
4 OBSERVADORES DE PRUEBAS
El contratista capta la intención por parte de la República de presenciar algunas pruebas seleccionadas, en particular las que verifican los requerimientos de rendimiento de la República y los que se utilizan para demostrar la compatibilidad de la interfaz.
La República tiene el derecho de monitorear, por decisión propia, en las preparaciones, ejecuciones y evaluaciones de las pruebas.
