I am an English/Spanish Translator/Interpreter.
I work at a Canadian mining company in Uruguay (www.orosurmining.ca) as corporate translator, translating technical documents from all areas: Legal Department, Accounts Department, Drilling, Explorations, Mine, Plant, Mechanics.
I also develop interpretation tasks at court hearings, safety inductions, speeches from management, management visits to doctor, etc.
I have training and experience in Quality Assurance, performing related tasks.
As freelance translator I am frequently involved in projects related to afforestation, slaughter houses, pumping systems, tourist farms, real state, scaffoldins assembly and thermal insulation.
I am also an English teacher with 10 years experience teaching different subjects (business, literature, international exams, FCE, CAE, CPE, from Cambridge University) at all levels (primary, secondary), in private schools and institutes (St. Catherine's School, Northlands School) as well as public highschools in Tacuarembó and Montevideo.
