More of a play on words than a literal translation. In the U.S. we have all heard of "face lifts", which are cosmetic procedures to improve the appearance of one's face. There is also an "eyelid lift" to remove the excess or saggy skin from one's eyelid area. Why not use "smile lift"? It didn't get a ton of hits on google:

But, I think if most people (at least from the U.S.) would hear the term "smile lift", they would be able to guess that it involves cosmetic plastic surgery for the teeth or the mouth area.
