Portuguese term

Diretor de Administração Acadêmica

Portuguese to English Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs
This is on the bottom of a Brazilian diploma with the Director's signature directly above it. I want to put "Director of Academics" but maybe that's not right....

Diploma from what type of school ? Secondary/High School, Tech/Trade, Vocational School, University ?
It just dawned on me that it will make a big difference to fit the right term.

School Secretary

Academic secretary, faculty secretary depending on the kind of establishment. Do not confuse secretary with Secretary i.e. Secretary General etc.

Check google hits for "School Secretary": over 2.3 million, this might be the term you are looking for.

Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs/Chief Academic Officer (CAO)

Se você traduz para o inglês americano os termos acima são os mais comuns. Se para o inglês britânico, "pro-vice-chancellor" seria mais adequado.
