French term

en provision

French to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
In a biomedical research agreeement:

I am thinking something like "planned" or "filed" but am having a hard time determining exactly what this refers to. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

You're on the right track, that is indeed what it means. Now to build it into a correct English legalise context ;)

agree MatthewLaSon : Yes, it means just this. It's a typo, too; it should read "en prévision."

Typo for "prévision"?

threatened

I think the "en cours" is pending, whereas "en prévision" is more like "threatened", as in someone is threatening to sue. The literal translation might be "planned" but I am not sure whether that's how someone would write the document in English.
