I help law firms, international brands and translation agencies communicate accurately and naturally with Polish-speaking audiences.
I am a native Polish translator with a legal background and experience spanning more than 5,000 translation projects and several million words translated and reviewed. My work combines translation with specialist review, terminology research and practical advice on the quality of Polish-language content.
My main focus is English-to-Polish translation and Polish-language review. I also undertake Polish-to-English translation and remote interpreting assignments.
Legal, social-care and HR translation
Legal translation has been central to my practice since 2006. I work with contracts, company documents, court materials, employment documentation and policies. My legal education helps me recognise important distinctions, research terminology and identify ambiguities that need clarification.
I also have extensive experience translating social-care and local-authority documentation, including assessments, child-protection materials, housing documents and communications with service users.
Whether the reader is a lawyer, an employee or a family receiving support, I pay close attention to accuracy, clarity and the purpose of the document.
Marketing, e-commerce and consumer technology
I translate and review marketing copy, product descriptions, websites and customer-facing content, with particular experience in sportswear and consumer audio.
My work for Under Armour includes Polish marketing translation, e-commerce language review, terminology and style-guide development. Since 2018, I have also provided ongoing Polish-language review for an international consumer audio brand.
This work goes beyond checking grammar. I examine whether the Polish accurately describes the product, sounds natural to the intended audience and remains consistent with the brand’s terminology and tone of voice. For website reviews, this can include navigation, category names, filters and consistency across product ranges.
Specialist review, terminology and language consulting
Sometimes a client needs a new translation. Sometimes the more important question is whether the existing Polish content is accurate, consistent and ready to use.
I provide bilingual review, Polish-language editing, linguistic audits, glossary development and style-guide support. Depending on the assignment, deliverables can include a revised text, an annotated review or a prioritised report explaining the issues and recommended changes.
Terminology research is a particular strength of my practice. I investigate how a term is used, what it means in context and which Polish equivalent will work for the product, subject area and audience.
I also provide review and post-editing of AI- and machine-translated content, checking it against the source for meaning, omissions, terminology, tone and natural language. The scope is based on the quality of the material and its intended use, rather than an assumption that every text needs only light editing.
Qualifications and professional credentials
Chartered Linguist and qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
Diploma in Translation (DipTrans), with a distinction in the Technology paper.
Master’s degree in Law, with a thesis on consumer protection written in English.

Remote interpreting
I also offer remote English–Polish interpreting, drawing on several hundred hours of consecutive, telephone and whispered interpreting for legal, business, local-authority and social-care settings.
Professional contribution
My volunteer translation work includes more than 70,000 words for Translators without Borders and contributions to the Polish localisation of ProZ.com. I have also been an active contributor to terminology discussions through KudoZ, particularly in English-to-Polish legal translation.
