Kontraktet tilldelades av Azienda Sanitaria Locales (ASL) och avsåg utredning och bedömning av huruvida sjukvårdsanläggningarna i provinsen xxx var säkra ur seismologisk synvinkel, det vill säga utredning och bedömning av sannolikheten för att anläggningar skulle skadas vid en eventuell jordbävning eller ett vulkanutbrott. Enligt avtalet skulle uppdraget utföras av personal vid universitetet respektive vid ASL i samarbete med varandra.
