I don't quite get the meaning of spur in this context. I know it has several meanings but none I could find fit the context. What am I missing?
At this fork in the trail, take a right on the **spur** that leads to the teaching circle. When you arrive at the teaching circle, have a seat on a bench. The Preserve is not just a resource for birds. Each year, local school groups take field trips here for hands-on lessons in wetland ecology.
TIA!

Note from asker:
Wilsonn, I truly appreciate your suggestion. In this instance I think ramificación was a better fit. Be well! |

Liliana, agradezco tu aportación. En este caso me parece que ramificación se ajusta mejor al contexto. |

Discussion
I was proposing a complete rewrite of an entire paragraph, la senda termina en un circulo, (only a sugestion) is not very loyal to original. There exists a conflict between styles....To me, often an entire translation can be rewritten to convey the essential.....(ex La vie en rose, Edith Piaf, from the original by Carlo Butti)
But what is it called in Spanish???
